Back in the first week of September my girlfriend and I spent a relaxing week in North Cornwall, calling in on Bath on the way there and Bristol on the way back. I'm naturally drawn to this part of the country, having spent so many holidays there growing up. I love the rugged coastline in comparison to Norfolk and the picturesque seaside towns and beaches.
Here's some extracts from my holiday sketchbook.
We visited Padstow one afternoon and had dinner at Rick Stein's impressive restaurant.
We also visited the historic Tintagel Castle on a bright and windy day. I attempted to capture this whilst being blown about in the elements!
Last stop was Bristol, which was a nice change of pace from Cornwall – very buzzing.
After a 5 hours or so long journey we were home – 890 miles later. Think may fly next time!
